The quirky and authentic farmhouse sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. There is 1 fourposter, 1 double and 1 twin. The sitting room has a huge log fire and there is also a dining room, kitchen and bathroom. It has a vintage, anti-modern feel, but with central heating, a washing machine and a freezer.

Outside is a stream, a mossy wood and a little bakehouse, which makes the perfect den.

It is simple and welcoming with whitewashed walls and old beams. It is full of books and music. Games, maps, bonfires and waterfalls are all you need and there is a  good selection of DVDs. There is no TV by popular request so we take laptops. A perfect retro holiday.
